High school/class: Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (RCS) High School, senior

Career-related experience: Blogging for Times Union, photography for Times Union's "Seens" series, New Visions "Man on the Street" interviews and photography, volunteer activities (below)

Employment: Coxsackie Public Library book/movie/Web site reviewer; NYS Thruway New Baltimore Rest Area food service

Special interests: Writing (creative, journalism, literary analysis), reading, photography and PhotoShop

Volunteer activities: Volunteers as a mentor with an adaptive art class at RCS High School. Also has volunteered with Environmental Advocates of NY

Educational & career goals: 4-year college to earn Bachelor’s degree in English; student teaching; earn a Master’s in Education; teach at high school or elementary school level

For fun: Hanging out with friends, reading, creative writing, Web surfing

Favorite thing about New Visions so far: Either blogging or going out and shooting photos
