Computer & Network Tech students learn from Corning
engineer
High-speed computer networks, voice and data communication,
video: all use fiber optics. This spring, Computer & Network
Technician students gained hands-on experience working with fiber
optics during a visit from Amy Vu, a sales engineer with Corning
Cable Systems.
The students will apply their knowledge and skills when working
with local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs) and
other technologies.
Vu is based in Rochester, N.Y. and is a sales engineer in the
private networks division of Corning Cable Systems.
