Great pumpkins appear in Albany


Thanks to the generosity of local business partners Price Chopper, WF Ryan Produce and Lansing's Farm, Colonie, more than 70 pumpkins have been transformed from generic gourds to cool, career-themed creations by Albany campus students. After judging by SkillsUSA officers and school staff, the winners were:
AM Session:
Best in Show
1st place: Floral Design. 2nd place: Food Services (Chef Haas). 3rd place: Global Fashion Studies
Funniest:
1st place: Cosmetology (Mrs. Hoffer). 2nd place: Early Childhood Education. 3rd place: Nurse Assistant (Mr. Mainville)
Most Representative of Your Trade:
1st place: Cosmetology (Mrs. Schmidt) 2nd place: Building Trades. 3rd place: Electrical Trades
