Auto Body Repair

The Auto Body Repair program at the Albany campus is a two-part program.

In Auto Body Refinishing, students learn how to use state-of-the-art automotive refinishing equipment to paint complete vehicles or vehicle sections. Students also learn how to mix specific paint colors, detail vehicles, and calculate finishing costs. Refinishing is taken as the first year of the program.

In Auto Body Collision Repair, students learn how to replace glass and panels, weld, and straighten panels and vehicle structures. Chief E-Z liner straightening equipment and Motor E-Frame electronic measurement data are used in the structural repair part of this program. Collision Repair is the second year of the program.
