Botanical Services

Designed for students with special needs, the Botanical Services program provides the education and training needed for successful employment in the botanical services field. Emphasis is placed on important interpersonal and workplace skills such as a solid work ethic and working with others. 

Learning takes place in the classroom, campus flower shop and greenhouse, and at local businesses, as well as through field trips and student competitions. Students also learn through trips to flower shows.

Floral designer
Garden center employee
Groundskeeper
Gardener/lawn care worker

Greenhouse management
Basic floral design
Nursery maintenance
Landscaping
Cash handling
Customer service

Further Education/Post-Secondary Education:
Students completing Botanical Services may enter the workforce, continue their studies through the Floral Design program or take courses at two-year colleges.
