Office Operations

The Office Operations program prepares students for beginning office work by introducing them to the computer, keyboarding and touch typing with an emphasis on accuracy and speed. Students learn about the latest business software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, and may put their skills to work through job sampling experiences at local businesses.

Office Operations readies students for employment in business or further education through the Administrative & Medical Office Assistant program. 

Post-secondary study:
Students completing Office Operations also have attended two-year colleges as well as Northeast Career Planning's Vocational Skills Training program.

Students must have passed fourth grade competency tests in math and English

Professional Requirements:
Proper business attire including uniform shirt is required for extended classroom opportunities.
