Has practiced law for more than 15 years,holding positions in both
private practice and New York State government. Before joining staff
of Career & Technical School, most recently was Assistant Director
of Albany Law School's Science and Technology Law Center and
maintained own private law practice. Prior to law school, he was a
reporter at the Capitol for a syndicated news service.
Professional certifications &
licenses:
NYS certified English teacher. Adjunct Professor of Criminal
Justice (State University of New York). Attorney admitted to
practice in all New York State courts, the United StatesDistrict
Court for the Northern District of New York, the United States Court
of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the United States Court of
International Trade and the United States Supreme Court.

organizations:
Has served on the New York
Advisory Panel to the College Board, the New York State Legislative
Forum, and the board of directors of several not-for-profit
organizations in the Albany area, including the FBI Citizens'
Academy Alumni Association, Albany Chapter (Founding Member and
first Presdient), and Friends of Five Rivers.

Advice for students:
"There is no such thing as
a 'stupid question.' Chances are, if you're thinking it, at least
two or three others around you are too. It's to youradvantage to get
the answer.
And, there is something valuable to
be gained from any experience.
Learning what you don't like to do
in life can be just as important as finding what you think you want
to do."
